What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities to develop cloud-native backend services that prioritise performance, scalability, and observability at companies with a strong engineering culture and focused on delivering high quality products.

I am a Backend software developer specialized in Data and Cloud solutions.

Since a young age I am passionate about Linux, open source, and open hardware. Meanwhile I studied Telecommunications engineering, I worked as sysadmin on a student club, building a strong foundation on software development, Linux operating systems and computer networks.

Recently, on UBS I built cloud-native data warehouses and led migrations from on-premise to Azure at UBS. Prior to that, in Cabify/Movo developed part of the Movo core backend and the Movo data workflows within Cabify.

I specialize in Golang and Python languages, and have developed software that runs on top of Databricks, Airflow and Kubernetes, in addition to baremetal.

On my free time, I contribute to open-source projects such as Terraform Providers and Wireleap and maintain a home lab for testing new tech. I’m Currently I’m experimenting with self-hosted generative AI (LLMs and diffusion models).

Led and successfully migrated the Treasury Data Store from on-premise to Azure, redesigned the cloud-native data warehouse and ETL pipelines, migrating PySpark workflows to Databricks to improve reliability and scalability, and building an event-driven job execution platform scheduled by Airflow (on AKS).
