Jordin Newman

I've taught kindergarten through third grade at North Elementary, Longfellow Elementary, South Elementary, and Level Up Preschool, creating engaging instruction for students with diverse learning needs.

I design TEKS-, Common Core-, and state-aligned curriculum, lesson plans, and differentiated activities using Balanced Literacy, ARC, Math Expressions, Guided Math, Love and Logic, and modern teaching resources. I also support families through active communication and help students strengthen academic comprehension and problem-solving skills.

I've collaborated with principals, instructional coaches, and teaching teams on accessible in-person and distance-learning curriculum, participated in professional learning communities, served on a Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports committee, and led Seesaw professional development as a campus ambassador.
