Shanika Williams

At Cedar Hill ISD, I lead kindergarten planning and deliver TEKS-aligned instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. I build a positive classroom where academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and positive behavior can thrive.

I've mentored new teachers with classroom management strategies, curriculum guidance, and instructional support. I use formative and summative data, differentiated instruction, and small-group reading and math interventions to respond to every learner's needs.

Previously, at DeSoto ISD, I planned active learning experiences, maintained productive classrooms, partnered with families, and used technology to differentiate instruction. My experience also includes teaching two-year-olds at Walnut Grove and supporting Pre-K through fifth-grade classrooms as a substitute.

I'm committed to inclusive teaching, meaningful relationships, and helping students reach their full potential.
