At Jefferson Academy, I create and adapt standards-aligned lessons, student activities, and assessments across elementary subjects, including science and social studies. I develop grade-appropriate learning activities, comprehension supports, and formative checks to align with instructional objectives.
I lead planning meetings and Professional Learning Communities for third- and fourth-grade teams, coordinating instructional planning and collaborative review. I also analyze student learning evidence and adjust pacing, differentiation, and intervention supports to improve access to grade-level instruction.
As MTSS Committee Lead, I facilitate schoolwide meetings and coordinate data-informed intervention planning with teachers and student-support colleagues. I hold an M.A. in History and a B.A. in Elementary Education, with Special Education Generalist, CLDE, and Orton-Gillingham training.
