I am a dedicated researcher passionate about gender equality and women's empowerment, particularly in rural India. My work emphasizes the transformative role of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in challenging traditional societal norms and advancing gender parity. Through my research, I aim to highlight the multifaceted contributions of SHGs in promoting economic independence, social standing, and political awareness among women in the Sonepur district of Odisha.
