Gomathi Senthilkumar

I’m an applied economics graduate with strong quantitative and analytical research experience. I structure research problems, synthesize large datasets, and translate findings into clear, evidence-based recommendations for senior stakeholders.

In my research internships, I’ve scoped studies using national-level MOSPI datasets, analyzed socioeconomic indicators across multiple regions, and distilled results into key insights on women’s economic participation. I also co-structured reports and policy briefs presented to academic and policy stakeholders.

I’m comfortable authoring research articles for general audiences and communicating insights through workshops. At The Dialogue Box, I researched socioeconomic trends, synthesized findings across focus areas, and produced 3 research articles with clear, structured narratives.

My projects include empirically studying feminisation of Indian agriculture using Agricultural Census and PLFS data, performing statistical analysis in R and Stata, and turning results into actionable policy recommendations. I also designed a field-based household survey to assess how parental socioeconomic status relates to school performance and to evaluate educational scheme effectiveness.
