I’m a dynamic innovation coordinator, AI practitioner, and technology educator with 3+ years of experience driving digital transformation and youth capacity building in Tanzania. I build AI-powered systems that directly address real-world problems, aligned with the UN SDGs.

I founded and lead the AI Club & Signal Processing at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST), guiding 150+ student innovators across 7 sub-groups. I oversee 9+ active innovation projects—such as an AI Triage Tool, an AI Water Quality Monitor, Kilimo Mshauri, and an Offline Adaptive Learning platform—and I advocate for institutional recognition and resources for student-led innovation.

I also mentor students as a part-time instructor, running practical sessions that connect academic theory to real-world technology. I support learners in building IBM-certified Python for Data Science skills and completing machine learning projects, with a strong emphasis on hands-on progress.

On the technical side, I lead production AI systems using FastAPI with integrated ML models and real-time pipelines. I contribute to open source as a Google Summer of Code 2026 participant (ML4Science/DIPY) and have worked on NLP efforts for low-resource Tanzanian languages using HuggingFace and PyTorch.
