What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level internship/role where I can build embedded and IoT systems and apply computer vision and deep learning to real problems. I want hands-on mentorship, practical ownership, and a team that values engineering problem solving.

I’m an Electronics Engineering undergraduate at the University of Dar es Salaam, specializing in AI-driven Robotics and Embedded Systems. I build end-to-end solutions that integrate sensors and microcontrollers while grounding my work in real-world problem solving.

My focus spans classical Machine Learning and Deep Learning, including transfer learning and convolutional neural networks, with hands-on work in computer vision. I’m comfortable using PyTorch for deep learning and scikit-learn for supervised learning, with a strong emphasis on data processing and model evaluation.

I’ve applied these skills in projects that combine computer vision with embedded control. For example, I built a hand gesture-controlled LED system using MediaPipe and Arduino, and I developed an ESP32 smart light control system for real-time home automation.

I also enjoy turning models into usable products—like a FastAPI-based web app that classifies handwritten digits using a CNN. I value technical communication, analytical problem solving, and team collaboration as I continue strengthening my embedded systems and front-end development capabilities.
