What I'm looking for

I take remote freelance contracts through my company, Joe Lloyd Web Apps.

I am a freelance JavaScript engineer based in Amsterdam, with 13 years of professional experience. I build front end and full stack web apps in React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js, plus desktop apps in Electron.

I work with AI agents that spec, build and verify each change, and I review every change before it ships. That lets me offer fixed-scope deliveries, such as a feature shipped in 1 to 2 weeks, and part-time retainers of 10 to 20 hours a week.

I work async, with few meetings. Open-source work includes Git Gud, a Git desktop app.
