Led frontend migration from a monolithic PHP app to a high-performance static website, reducing AWS costs via serverless architecture. Added Node.js backend endpoints on AWS Lambda, updated Terraform IaC, and built a web-component library used across multiple e-commerce sites.

Developed features for a Next.js + Laravel client dashboard and built animated ad templates in React with live editing and preview. Integrated GCP services including BigQuery and Cloud SQL for analytics and data storage.

Migrated the marketing site from PHP/Laravel to Nuxt.js static generation, reducing load time from 3s to 0.5s and improving PageSpeed score to 90. Set up AWS Amplify deployment pipeline, integrated Salesforce for lead capture, and implemented A/B testing with Lambda@Edge.

Built a micro-service to replace part of the existing API and integrated multiple third-party APIs. Created jobs to sync third-party data with the local database, improving initial setup speeds from 24 hours to 20 minutes.

Contributed to the development of a specialized job board for the trucking industry in Canada. Focused on frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks.

Integrated Algolia to reduce search response time from 3s to 0.5s, implemented m3u8 video streaming for previews, and transitioned the subscription model to royalty-free improving retention. Served as de facto dev lead, guiding code reviews and scalability efforts.

Developed a Stripe extension to manage discounts for subscribers based on referrals. Created a client dashboard and a GraphQL API to support the extension's functionality.

Built a multi-tenant admin for job applications and a Node.js API for filtering and content delivery, and developed a network of 500+ job board sites. Technologies included Node.js, MongoDB, Mongoose, Elasticsearch, Vue.js, Laravel, and WordPress.

Hired and trained engineering talent, established coding standards and processes, and built custom ERP features while managing projects and client communications on expectations and budgets.

Built a single-page music app with an integrated player using Laravel, Redis, Backbone.js, and MySQL, maintaining client-side state during navigation. Delivered stable playback and state management across routes.
