At Ascension Parish School Board, I coordinate K–5 program operations and manage Marathon Kids Connect for 500+ students and four PE teachers. I handle implementation, training, participation tracking, and ongoing program administration.
I researched and initiated the transition from EZ Scan to Marathon Kids Connect, identifying a more sustainable solution that reduced annual program costs by approximately $200. I monitor participation data and adjust implementation plans to address operational factors and improve outcomes.
I also initiated an annual multi-school professional development program involving six PE teachers across two schools. For my Educational Leadership Action Research at University of Louisiana Monroe, I designed and evaluated a third-grade ELA tutoring program, coordinating support for 38 students and analyzing results to inform future improvements.
