What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote nursing role where I can coordinate patient care, support coverage and medical-necessity decisions, and partner with care teams to improve outcomes—ideally using my transplant and case management experience.

I’m a Remote Transplant Nurse Advisor focused on assessing, planning, facilitating, and coordinating transplant patient care end-to-end. I communicate with referral sources, patients, attending physicians, hospitals, and the transplant team to support coverage determinations and quote transplant benefits.

In my current roles, I help ensure medical necessity and experimental/investigational determinations by facilitating Medical Director review of medical information under the applicable transplant benefit contract. I also review medical records and related claims to determine transplant versus non-transplant related services as needed, and I assist in writing transplant clinical guidelines and medical policy.

Before moving fully remote, I built strong clinical leadership in emergency and inpatient settings, including serving as “Department Leader” and “Charge RN” where I facilitated throughput, managed evolving ED needs, and supported triage, assessment, and treatment. My experience also includes RN case management to help members navigate outpatient care, prevent hospital admissions, and coordinate specialized coverage and benefits—supported by current Indiana RN licensure and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
