In my current role, I process and fulfill requests for release of medical records, including completing quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy before delivery. I also maintain strict adherence to legal requirements when releasing sensitive or protected health information (PHI), while managing high-volume workloads by prioritizing urgent requests.

Previously, as a Patient Access Representative/Health Information Technician, I processed and fulfilled medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA. I trained new staff on proper procedures for handling sensitive patient information and data security protocols, and I supported accurate front-desk workflows like checking in patients and verifying insurance coverage.
