Postsecondary English instructor and editor, helping students write with confidence through composition, rhetoric, and thoughtful copyediting.
What I'm looking for
I am a postsecondary English Instructor with experience teaching at a variety of community colleges and universities. I teach first and second-level composition and rhetoric, as well as Literature and the Environment, and I’ve also taught First-Year Experience courses, as part of learning communities, and in the summer Academic Success Program.
I bring hands-on writing support from my work as a writing center tutor and administrator, including experience as a Writing Center Coordinator where I interviewed, trained, scheduled, assessed, and supervised a staff of fifteen professional writing consultants. I’m also currently working as an Editor, and I’m familiar with higher ed software and platforms like Navigate, Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, TutorTrac, and Upswing—so I can support strong instruction, clear feedback, and effective student outcomes.
