Jessica Akers

I’m a veterinary assistant who works in all areas of the business, and I currently lead the surgical department. I’m known for stepping in where needed—supporting patients and the team while keeping processes organized and calm.

I also handle reception and room support, where I focus on great customer service. I greet and assist clients with confidence, and I use a program software to communicate with customers both online and in person at the office.

Before my current role, I built strong front-of-house and service skills as a hostess, greeting customers with a smile and seating them with menus and silverwar. I also helped with serving from time to time to support the waiters during busy shifts.

I started earlier as a dietary aide, checking diet restrictions for the kitchen, cleaning, taking meals to patients’ rooms, and helping with trash removal. I’m dedicated to consistent performance—I’ve been with my current company for almost 14 years—and I’m motivated to keep growing in veterinary care and patient support.
