What I'm looking for

I am seeking a full-time role in animal care where I can apply clinical skills, support surgery and diagnostics, mentor staff, and work in a safety-focused, compassionate team environment.

I am a dedicated veterinary technician with hands-on experience caring for domestic and exotic animals across shelters, hospitals, and community education programs. I have performed diagnostics, assisted in surgeries and dentals, administered vaccines and medications, and managed patient monitoring and surgical prep.

My background includes roles at Banfield, VCA, Santa Barbara Humane Society, and specialty clinics where I ran fecal, blood and urine tests, took radiographs, placed catheters, and communicated treatment plans and diagnostics to clients. I have also trained animals for public outreach and mentored staff in animal handling and care.

I am certified in CPR/first aid (human and animal), proficient with Avimark and Microsoft Office platforms, and I passed the Vet Tech National Examination. I seek to bring reliable clinical skills, client communication, and a calm, safety-first approach to patient care.
