I build geospatial weather-data pipelines, APIs, and quality systems for live mapping platforms.

At weatherUSA, I build Python pipelines for GOES-R and Himawari satellite imagery used in a live mapping platform, reducing render latency from five minutes to 12 seconds.

I've automated parsers that stream live weather feeds to interactive maps, cutting manual processing from 10 minutes to 10 seconds while refreshing data every 30 minutes. I also led QA for a weather-data API suite, designing edge-case scenarios and helping deliver a stable launch with zero critical post-release defects.

My work combines geospatial analysis, database quality standards, and real-time telemetry. I've built and calibrated four Ohio Mesonet weather stations and use QGIS and custom Python scripts to support research and operational decisions.

With atmospheric science degrees from The Ohio State University and graduate work in polar meteorology and the cryosphere, I bring precise, structured analysis to large-scale meteorological datasets.
