Jerome De Guzman

I am a computer engineering student with hands-on experience in IT support, hardware maintenance, and networking, gained through an internship where I installed and configured Windows on 30+ PCs and maintained office network cabling. I solve technical problems efficiently and rebuild functional systems from salvaged parts.

My academic work includes a thesis on infant cry classification using Gradient Boosting Machine and Random Forest, reflecting my interest in applied machine learning and data-driven solutions. I also placed 2nd in a regional C++ programming contest, demonstrating strong algorithmic problem-solving skills.

I communicate effectively in Filipino and English, and I bring practical experience with tools like GitHub, Visual Studio, and Android Studio, plus a passion for PC building and IoT platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. I seek roles where I can contribute technical support, hardware/network administration, and continue developing software and ML skills.
