I’m an LIS & EMR Administrator and Laboratory Technician with 5+ years of experience supporting laboratory operations, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), data management, quality assurance, client support, workflow optimization, and healthcare technology systems. I’m recognized as a key resource for resolving system issues and maintaining reporting accuracy.

In my role, I created, maintained, and updated laboratory test codes, panels, comments, and send-out testing configurations within the Comtron Laboratory Information System (LIS). I assist with analyzer-to-LIS interface troubleshooting to investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies, and I’ve integrated results from reference laboratories by creating corresponding test codes, result mappings, and reporting structures. I also configure microbiology panels and testing workflows to improve reporting efficiency and result accuracy, supported by monthly audits to verify data integrity, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

I support physician offices, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities with portal access, order management, and reporting needs, including end-user training for portal functionality, laboratory reporting, and software-related issues. In the lab, I perform testing across toxicology, microbiology, immunohematology, urinalysis, and molecular departments, and I operate and perform quality control on LC/MS/MS and TECAN instrumentation.
