Clinical molecular technologist transitioning into LIS/LIMS and clinical application analysis for lab workflow optimization.
What I'm looking for
I’m a clinical molecular technologist with 5+ years of diagnostic laboratory experience and a growing technical background through a nearly completed B.S. in Computer Science. I bring hands-on knowledge of molecular workflows, QC processes, result review, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
In my current role, I perform and troubleshoot molecular testing workflows for women’s health and oncology specimens, reviewing QC, specimen status, and patient result data for completeness and accuracy. I document exceptions, translate lab workflow problems into clear corrective actions, and support coworkers and leadership with procedure questions, testing delays, and data discrepancies in a regulated healthcare environment.
I’m actively seeking to transition into LIS/LIMS or clinical application analyst roles supporting laboratory systems, users, data integrity, workflow optimization, and system troubleshooting. I’ve developed workflow tools and reporting utilities in Python, R/Shiny, Excel, and VBA to improve operational tracking, data visibility, and process follow-up.
