I manage our mortgage and equity compliance program, governing controls and audit defense across all real estate lending. I oversee HMDA LAR data integrity across our LOS platforms, resolving system export flaws and mapping errors at the root cause. I lead NCUA and CPA audit responses, design QC testing routines, and partner across teams to ensure lending stays fair.

Built and led the compliance team, taking ownership of pipeline governance and ECOA/HMDA oversight. I centralized adverse action decisions, created 25+ recurring QC reports, and tackled root-cause LOS mapping flaws. Proudly achieved zero findings in our annual HMDA audit by defending our data interpretations, resolving false fails, and proving our controls were rock-solid.

Spearheaded full HMDA remediation for 2020–2022 LARs, validating loan-level data and executing successful regulatory resubmissions. I untangled multi-system issues in Encompass, MeridianLink, and QuestSoft (now NLending) to fix export and mapping flaws. Proudly defended our data in a major NCUA audit review, replaced flawed vendor audits with internal QC, and centralized loan dispositions.

Managed annual HMDA LAR and IRS 1098 reporting, ensuring data accuracy and meeting strict regulatory deadlines. Administered our LOS platforms (Encompass and MortgagebotLOS), built custom SQL reporting, and led the 2021 URLA rollout. Backed up the closing director, closed 20% of monthly volume, and kept daily operations compliant, organized, and audit-ready.
