What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Brand Designer and Visual Communications Designer with 20+ years of experience developing consumer products, marketing campaigns, and publication design for national retailers and regional brands. I bring a refined aesthetic, strong typography and layout skills, and deep expertise in visual storytelling across print and digital media.
In my most recent role at TheHomeMag (February 2025 - February 2026), I led visual design and production for a regional publication—designing complete magazine layouts and custom advertising campaigns for a publication reaching approximately 130,000 households per issue. I collaborated directly with 60+ advertisers per month to clarify marketing objectives and translate concepts into compelling, production-ready creative, while also producing original photography for residential projects and advertiser features.
Alongside that, I’ve freelanced since 2004 (2004 - Present) providing brand communications, marketing campaigns, consumer products, and surface design. I’ve developed integrated marketing campaigns (direct mail, email marketing, website graphics, and promotional materials), created cohesive brand identities and multi-channel assets, and built original textile and surface designs for major retailers; earlier, I also founded and ran a photography and creative services business for 14 years, directing shoots from concept through post-production and designing bespoke print products that drove repeat business and referrals.
