What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level health informatics role where I can ensure data accuracy, validate structured healthcare data, document clinical workflows, and build reporting dashboards using SQL and Power BI—while maintaining strict PHIPA-level confidentiality.

I’m a Health Informatics student building strong capabilities in data quality, structured data cleanup, and workflow documentation across EHR and health data environments. I focus on review, validation, and finalization of clinical and operational documentation while maintaining confidentiality and high data integrity.

Through my experience as a Front Desk Administration team member at Desjardins Insurance, I maintained accurate and secure customer records, tracked service metrics in Excel, and supported billing inquiries by verifying details and resolving discrepancies with internal teams. I also helped improve workflow efficiency by preparing documentation, updating internal logs, and coordinating communication between departments.

From coursework and hands-on projects, I’ve studied HL7, FHIR, and DICOM with an emphasis on interoperability and structured data exchange, and I’ve applied OHIP billing and ICD-10/ICD-9 coding in documentation assignments. I enjoy turning raw data into validated, decision-ready outputs—using SQL, Power BI (including DAX), and data validation rules—while continuously improving how teams capture and standardize healthcare information.
