What I'm looking for

I’m seeking an internship in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Applied AI where I can build Python/SQL data pipelines, apply ML to real problems, and communicate insights through interactive dashboards while learning from experienced teams.

I’m a Data Engineering & AI student with hands-on experience in Python data pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases, big data processing (Hadoop, Spark/Scala), and machine learning. I enjoy turning raw data into decisions through interactive data visualisation and clear, story-driven dashboards.

Recent projects reflect the way I like to work end-to-end: an ML Classification Suite with three pipelines (alphanumeric recognition, spam detection with NLP/TF-IDF and feature engineering, and image classification with CNN + transfer learning), plus Python Data Visualisation and Tableau dashboards built from raw CSV data. I also build practical backend services, like a production-structured Node.js/Express REST API with JWT auth, role-based access control, Jest unit tests, Postman collections, and Dockerised deployment.

Beyond technical work, I’m comfortable collaborating across time zones from a previous remote role and I’ve taught programming and math one-on-one, designing custom curricula and tracking progress. I bring strong fundamentals (3 Honors distinctions, GPA 8.05/10) and a bilingual EN/ES mindset (CEFR C2), and I’m looking for an internship to apply applied AI, data engineering, and analytics skills in real products.
