Enric Peñalver

I am a graduate data scientist with hands-on experience applying Python and machine learning to real-world engineering datasets, focused on improving accuracy, traceability, and automation. My work combines rigorous data analysis, feature engineering, and practical tool development to deliver usable solutions.

During internships I built interactive Python tools to automate validation of experimental tests, convert and filter .mat files, and support manual signal labelling when ML deployment was not yet feasible. I ran ML feasibility studies using cross-validation and regularisation to manage overfitting and produced workflows that reduced manual validation time and operational waste.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics Engineering and an Associate Data Scientist certification, and I bring strong problem-solving, teamwork, and version-control discipline (Git) to projects. I seek roles where I can apply data science to engineering problems and continue maturing ML pipelines and tooling.
