During my fall 2023 semester at Georgia Southern University, I took an introduction to gerontology course. I learned key information regarding the field of gerontology, including new outlooks on the lives of older adults and the barriers they overcome. I also learned how society can improve their quality of life and treat them with kindness and equality regardless of age.
