What I'm looking for

I'm looking to contribute my distance-education, curriculum and learning-content experience to accessible learner-centred programmes, while using generative AI responsibly with professional review and validation.

At NAMCOL, I developed, coordinated and quality-assured distance-education programmes and learning materials from 2010 to 2024.

I've built curricula and syllabi, designed study materials, edited educational content, coordinated course-development teams, and supported learners through workshops, assignments and mock examinations. My work brings together instructional design, adult learning, learner-centred content and practical project coordination.

Earlier, I supported programme delivery at NAMCOL, learner services at the University of Johannesburg, and distance education at Namibia's Ministry of Education.

Since retiring in 2024, I've independently explored ChatGPT and generative AI for structuring content, improving explanations, generating examples and reviewing learning materials. I use AI as a support tool, applying professional judgment and careful validation before incorporating generated material into educational content.
