Imani Brown

I’m a caring, dependable professional with a passion for supporting youth development through mentoring, classroom assistance, and childcare. I build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues by using strong communication and adaptability.

Through my AmeriCorps Mentor experience (February 2025 – October 2025), I mentored students with homework support, personal challenges, and goal setting while helping them develop organizational habits. I also led cooking classes and supervised boxing and music classes to encourage teamwork, creativity, and engagement through structured activities.

Alongside my childcare experience for private families (2017 – 2022), I helped create nurturing, welcoming learning environments that promote safety and confidence. With certifications including Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), CPR, and First Aid—and experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities—I’m ready to support academic and personal growth with patience, leadership, and effective conflict management.
