What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role working with youth where I can support safe, structured development and strong communication. I want opportunities to apply behavioral support skills and grow through mentorship and meaningful community impact.

I supervised and engaged children in structured daily activities, maintaining a safe, organized environment while managing multiple children at once. I communicated effectively with staff and families about child needs and behavior, building strengths in patience, behavioral management, and child-focused interaction.

At Texas A&M, I serve as a Peer Mentor, providing academic, social, and transitional support through regular check-ins and guidance. I help first-year students connect with campus resources and support adjustment through communication, goal-setting, and problem-solving while fostering a positive, supportive learning environment.

In addition, I mentor youth through weekly structured programming and support community service through organizing and distributing food. I’m also trained as a Crisis helpline volunteer, using evidence-based techniques like empathy, validation, and de-escalation while maintaining confidentiality and connecting individuals to appropriate resources—strengthening my interpersonal skills, emotional regulation, and problem-solving in high-stress situations.
