I’m a Data Analyst with a background in Computer Science and Software Quality Assurance, passionate about turning messy and complex data into clear, actionable insights that support better decisions.

I have hands-on experience across the data lifecycle, including data cleaning, validation, exploratory analysis, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization. My primary tools are Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, and workflow automation with n8n. I particularly enjoy working with datasets that require careful investigation, validation, and transformation before meaningful insights can be extracted.

In my recent role as a Data Analyst with the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Abia State Wing, I analyzed screening results for more than 26,000 teachers across the state using Microsoft Excel. I developed validation workflows to verify candidate selection against the required promotion benchmark across geographic zones and built an interactive Power BI dashboard to communicate screening outcomes and zone-level insights. The dashboard reduced the time required to deliver insights by more than 80%.

I also led the analytics team for a TechCrush data analytics capstone project focused on bank marketing. I developed and fine-tuned a logistic regression model to predict customers' likelihood of subscribing to a term deposit, prepared categorical data for modeling, and applied a 15% probability threshold to improve campaign targeting. The resulting approach increased the identified conversion rate from 10.95% to 38.12% and achieved a 3.48× improvement in conversion efficiency. I also built an interactive Power BI dashboard to analyze campaign performance, customer segments, and model outputs.

My Software QA experience has further strengthened my approach to data. Through freelance testing across platforms including uTest, Test IO, and TesterWork, I’ve developed strong attention to detail, systematic validation habits, edge-case analysis skills, and experience identifying and documenting issues clearly. I bring that same mindset to data analysis, where accuracy, consistency, and trustworthy results are just as important as producing insights.

I hold a First Class BSc in Computer Science from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, with a GPA of 4.54/5.00. I have also completed DataCamp’s Associate Data Analyst in SQL certification and TechCrush’s Data Analysis & Business Intelligence program.

I’m particularly interested in remote Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Data Quality roles where I can work with real-world data, solve analytical problems, build useful dashboards, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. I’m also open to internships and opportunities that provide room to learn, take on meaningful analytical work, and grow within a strong team.
