My name is Iara Luna, and I am a multilingual interpreter based in Florianópolis, Brasil. With a degree in Language and Literature from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, I have honed my skills in English and Portuguese, allowing me to effectively bridge communication gaps in various settings. My journey began as an English teacher, where I developed a passion for education and communication.

Over the past three years, I have expanded my professional repertoire by working as a medical interpreter, specializing in Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI). This role has not only enhanced my active listening and cultural mediation skills but has also taught me the importance of empathy and patience in high-stakes situations.
