What I'm looking for

The opportunity to work on interesting projects—preferably in accessible fintech or other areas that provide people with access to previously limited tools. Roles that allow me to leverage Human Interface Guidelines and interact with SwiftUI to make optimised products in Apple's ecosystem.

Currently working from my home in rural New Zealand, I am a user experience researcher, designer and product leader—specializing in designing for  Apple mobile devices, following Human Interface Guidelines.

Most recently the Head of Product on the crowdfunding platform, Steward (raised over $20MM to-date), I have been working with startups and early-stage businesses for a decade, both in-house and as a freelancer. I am a true generalist, whose professional work has ranged from project management and executive leadership, to customer experience and product design.

My design work focuses on Apple's ecosystem of software and devices, and I strive to design apps that have their own identity, while feeling completely at-home amongst native iOS apps. Using this shared language is critical for user adoption and optimal UX.

I evangelize the values of remote work and have worked fully remote since 2016, providing my services to businesses across the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Australia & New Zealand.

I started V&T to address the trend I saw of growing businesses investing heavily in marketing and lead acquisition, while neglecting the rest of their customers journey.

My focus was on the organizational structure, and the processes through which we conducted our work—navigating the challenges of running an effective, growing company in a fully-remote work environment.

I oversaw the customer experience for this dynamic fintech platform, which included both impact investors and regenerative agriculture farmers across the United States. Our challenge was to build a platform and processes that could move large volumes of capital while remaining both accessible to users and compliant with regulation.
