Holly Killian

I’m a detail-oriented and highly organized teacher with strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience supporting students and their parents/guardians. I bring a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

As a Long-Term Kindergarten Teacher (North Hills School District, Pittsburgh, PA), I served as the primary classroom teacher, managing daily operations and administrative responsibilities. I maintained organized records, schedules, and documentation, and communicated professionally with families, staff, and administrators. I balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a structured environment.

I’ve also supported continuity as a Substitute Teacher / Classroom Support, adapting quickly to new systems, expectations, and workflows. I use a “team player” mindset to work with the entire building and problem solve, while following established procedures.

I’m highly receptive to feedback and use suggestions for improvement and growth to adapt as an educator and colleague. I hold a B.A. in Early Childhood Education (Point Park University) and I’m currently completing a Master’s Degree in Reading & Literacy, with Reading Specialist Certification passed.
