What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build reliable software and machine-learning systems, particularly in operating systems, data-driven products, or intelligent applications, while learning from strong engineering teams and contributing hands-on across development, testing, and deployment.

At Sonatus, I develop software for automotive operating systems, working across Linux-based hardware and multi-platform deployment environments. I build and maintain development, testing, and environment workflows using Docker, Bash, Git, GCC/GDB, and Linux tooling.

I've built an end-to-end fraud transaction detection system for the Central Bank of Ireland and Banca d’Italia Innovation Data Challenge, comparing Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost on imbalanced data. I also added feature engineering, drift analysis, and a lightweight Flask/SQLite interface for investigating flagged transactions.

I'm completing a BSc/MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of Limerick, with First Class Honours standing, Dean’s List recognition, and a Fiserv Scholarship. Beyond coursework, I build games in Unity, lead hackathon projects, and contribute to computing and game-development communities.
