I'm building wearable sensor systems at UCD, where I designed a producer-consumer architecture that eliminates GUI stutter during bursty BLE packet delivery.
I decode packed binary protocols, reconstruct physical sensor values from firmware scale factors, and replaced an arrival-time heuristic with deterministic packet-loss counting. I also built session recording, CSV export, and a 24-test pytest suite independent of hardware.
My projects include a fully normalised MySQL movie-review database with trigger-driven Tomatometer updates, views, stored procedures, and analytical queries. I also built a Java chess engine with complete move validation and JUnit tests using TDD practices.
I'm an MEngSc Electronic and Computer Engineering graduate at UCD with foundations in C/C++, operating systems, concurrent programming, databases, and algorithms. I've solved more than 1,200 data-structures and algorithms problems and am interested in distributed systems, storage infrastructure, and low-level programming.

Decoded a packed little-endian binary protocol using Python's struct module, reversing firmware scale factors to reconstruct physical sensor values.
