What I'm looking for

I am seeking research-focused roles in academia or policy where I can lead discourse and corpus studies, mentor students, and translate findings into accessible outputs.

I am an applied linguist with a BA in English (Major in Applied Linguistics and ELT) from BRAC University, recognized with a Distinction and multiple awards for leadership and research. My work spans discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, SLA, and CALL.

I have published and submitted peer-reviewed articles and commentary, presented at conferences, and held research and editorial roles, including Research Assistant and Judge for the linguistics category at The Global Undergraduate Awards. I lead funded independent research projects and co-author comparative studies on feedback effectiveness across educational contexts.

I contribute to university teaching and community initiatives, offering tutoring, research support, and creative design leadership. I combine rigorous research skills with practical competencies in graphic/web design and UI/UX to communicate findings and produce accessible outputs.
