At Advanced Care Specialists, I coordinate care for an active caseload of approximately 150 patients and work with 15–20 clinical and administrative professionals. I’ve supervised rehabilitation and administrative teams, overseen billing workflows, and supported staff training and performance reviews.
I developed training materials, standard operating procedures, and workflows for scheduling, referrals, patient communication, insurance verification, and care coordination. I also review clinical documentation and payer criteria, prepare appeals and letters of medical necessity, and advocate for appropriate treatment authorization.
Earlier, I provided physical therapy across outpatient, pediatric, assisted-living, acute-care, and rehabilitation settings. My work included managing rehabilitation from evaluation through discharge, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on treatment and continuity of care.
