Hala Saadeh

I am a junior backend developer focused on building efficient, secure server-side systems using Django and Laravel. I deliver scalable APIs, microservices, and payment integrations with a strong emphasis on performance and security.

During a Django-focused internship I built and maintained authenticated APIs, integrated third-party services such as Stripe and Zoom, containerized 9+ services with Docker/Docker Compose, and helped implement Celery for asynchronous processing. I worked within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning and code reviews using Git/Bitbucket and Jira.

Outside of formal work I led an E-Learning project that supported 1,000+ users with real-time notifications, background jobs, ABAC, localization, secure payments via Stripe, and MinIO file storage. At university I developed systems including a preschool management platform with automated bus routing (OR-Tools) and WebSocket notifications, a dealership management REST API, and a restaurant order-tracking app.

I am passionate about optimizing performance (Redis, OR-Tools), building maintainable distributed systems, and contributing to teams that value continuous delivery, code quality, and user-focused backend solutions.
