At the School Management System (ZUST-ICT Project), I built responsive web interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. I also implemented reusable components from Figma designs and worked with REST APIs and backend integration.
At PyCon Somalia 2025 AI Hackathon, I developed an AI-powered solution to combat food insecurity in Somalia using computer vision and agricultural data analysis, earning 2nd Place in Somalia. I also developed computer vision models for the AI4EAC Bean Flowering Detection Challenge.
For the EY AI & Data Challenge 2026, I built predictive machine learning models to optimize clean water supply using satellite and environmental datasets. With the UbuntuNet Alliance Women Hackathon team EcoSisters, I developed GreenGuard, an AI-powered climate monitoring and early warning platform.
At AI Somalia Community, I lead planning and execution of AI events and education initiatives, support partnerships, and mentor students and young professionals. I also facilitate practical Git and GitHub workshops for students and developers.
