What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build end-to-end machine learning and software systems, from embedded data acquisition and model evaluation to secure backend services, cloud deployment, and production monitoring.

At ELIXIA, I built VEROX end to end as the sole engineer: an edge-cloud platform that turns photographed Arabic and French prescriptions into validated structured data.

I designed the Raspberry Pi capture device, FastAPI backend, model serving, web interface, deployment, and monitoring. I benchmarked four recognition systems and selected a self-hosted vision-language model that achieved 56.5% medication recall overall and 100% on printed prescriptions.

I build practical systems around machine learning, including Python services, PostgreSQL and Redis backends, secure APIs, automated deployment pipelines, and edge computer vision. For VEROX, I moved YOLO detection onto a Raspberry Pi at roughly 130 ms per frame and designed validation against Tunisia's national drug registry.

My industrial electronics background also includes embedded systems, thermal monitoring, PCB design, robotics-oriented hand pose estimation, sensor anomaly detection, and machine diagnostics. I enjoy carrying work from data acquisition and evaluation through reliable, secure production deployment.
