Gineka Mena
@ginekamena
I analyze astronomical data to investigate galaxy halo mass, globular clusters, and stellar mass.
What I'm looking for
I'm conducting astronomy research at the University of Arizona, comparing galaxy halo mass with globular cluster counts and stellar mass.
My current project with Dr. Dennis Zaritsky investigates whether stellar mass or the number of globular clusters is a more accurate indicator of a galaxy's total halo mass. Previously, I processed data for research on the effects of solar flares on the ionosphere at Miami-Dade College.
I bring Python, MATLAB, data analysis, visualization, statistics, and scientific computing skills, alongside experience as a United States Air Force Medical Technician. I'm fluent in English and a native Spanish speaker.
