George Streckenbach
@georgestreckenbach
Psychology student and mental health technician who delivers compassionate support and research-driven care improvements.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Psychology student at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities with a strong foundation in statistics, research methods, and leadership. I’m drawn to work where I can translate evidence into practical, human-first support.
In my Mental Health Technician role, I monitored patient behavior, provided emotional support, and helped develop individualized care plans for eight patients. I documented patient progress accurately and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and improve outcomes. I also focused on continuity of care by keeping reliable, well-structured records.
Earlier, as a Criminal Justice Services Intern, I organized and filed hundreds of legal documents, supported data entry and case management system maintenance, and conducted research on criminal justice processes. As a court monitoring volunteer, I observe and document court proceedings related to domestic abuse, sexual assault, and sex trafficking, then analyze legal responses to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
