Developed and maintained a comprehensive brownfields property inventory by coordinating with communities and partner organizations to collect, verify, and prioritize site data. Built ArcGIS Online web applications and produced deliverable maps, reports, and StoryMaps for internal teams and public outreach.

Assisted faculty in conducting research through data collection, mapping, and supporting analysis workflows in the Human and Community Development program. Helped prepare research outputs and organized project data to support ongoing program activities.

Led proposal development and project implementation, including field data collection, data analysis, report preparation, and training field staff. Coordinated research activities and fundraising events and supported community initiatives including alternative energy resources.

Taught undergraduate courses including human dimensions in wildlife conservation, protected area management, forest botany, and ecotourism. Developed teaching materials, conducted field visits, and evaluated student performance.

Developed and managed gender-focused conservation and natural resource management programs, including supervising staff and producing reports and training materials. Led experiential outdoor education for diverse middle and high school groups by teaching conservation-focused courses such as stream study, plantation, and the importance of conservation. Planned and facilitated hands-on learning activities aligned to natural resources and conservation objectives.

Supported the Tinjure Milke Jaljale Area Management Plan preparation team by collecting data on ethnobotany, indigenous knowledge, and traditional practices of resource utilization. Contributed to documentation needed for planning and related decision-making.

Completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human and Community Development in 2023. Dissertation examined the relationship between landscape characteristics and public preferences for a proposed Appalachian Geopark project in southern West Virginia.

Completed a Master of Science in Management of Protected Areas (2007). Thesis evaluated management effectiveness using Chitwan National Park as a case study.

Completed a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information System (GIS) and Geospatial Analysis in 2018 at West Virginia University.

Completed a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science in 1995 at Tri-Chandra Multiple College.

Completed a Master of Science in Botany (Ecology) in 1997 at Tribhuvan University.
