At the U.S. Geological Survey’s National Map Corps, I review and validate geospatial features, checking locations, attributes, and reference information. I also conducted spatial data verification and QA/QC, and as a Geospatial Data Editor created, updated, and deleted structure features in The National Map.
At The University of Texas at Dallas, I analyzed environmental datasets and used Python and R to automate research workflows. I also worked on UAV-based mapping and imagery processing, integrated spatial and tabular data for research projects, and taught GIS to students. At the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, I processed and classified satellite imagery for land cover mapping.
