What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply GIS, spatial analysis, Python, and environmental data management to practical land-use, forestry, conservation, or geospatial projects while continuing to grow through project-based work.

I've used Esri ArcGIS, ERDAS, GPS, and spatial analysis to build environmental and land-use data products, from watershed delineation and forest composition research to parcel, utility, and street databases.

At Western Illinois University, I managed spatial and imagery analysis, geoprocessing, georeferencing, feature extraction, metadata, QA, and mapping for local government groups. I also taught undergraduate labs in weather and climate, landforms, and GIS.

At Rivier University, I taught GIS in Transnational Security Studies and guided students through geoprocessing, raster and spatial analysis, geodatabases, queries, and thematic map production.

My forestry background includes utility tree inventories for ACRT and roadside right-of-way assessment work for the Illinois Institute of Rural Affairs. I'm continuing to develop applied GIS capabilities through project-based training in UAVs, AWS Cloud, Python, data science, and GIS management.
