What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a higher-education library role where I can lead research support and information literacy, drive digital transformation with user-centred service design, strengthen electronic resources and collections, and contribute to accreditation and continuous improvement.

I’m an experienced Library and Information Science professional with over 20 years of progressive experience in academic librarianship, information literacy instruction, research support, and library administration. I currently serve as Senior Assistant Librarian and Branch Librarian for the School of Social Work Library at Midlands State University, providing faculty liaison services and advanced support that strengthens teaching, learning, and research.

I focus on electronic resource management, collection development, and library service delivery—supported by library automation systems and KOHA. I also coordinate library operations, prepare management reports, support accreditation processes, supervise and mentor junior staff, and continuously improve access to information resources through innovative, user-centred approaches.
