What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a senior IT project/program leadership role in financial services, working with executives and regulators to deliver mission-critical platforms and payments, and applying AI to improve project predictability and data-driven operations.

I’m a Senior IT professional with over 27 years of experience in international financial and investment banking across Europe and Latin America. I deliver high-stakes transformations with a 90%+ success rate by bridging technical teams, executive boards, and global regulators.

I specialize in the full lifecycle of mission-critical platforms (Murex, SAP, Profile) and payments (SWIFT, ISO 20022, SPB). I’m also currently completing an MBA in AI for Business (2026), using artificial intelligence to improve data-driven banking operations and project predictability.

In my recent role at Haitong Banco de Investimento do Brasil, I led the implementation of critical third-party applications (Online Banking, FX Pricing/NDF, Receivables) and managed complex regulatory transitions, including CMN Resolution 4966 (BACEN). I directed IT procurement, solution/vendor selection, and budget execution while delivering executive-level board reporting and strategic presentations.

Previously, as Head of IT Application Support & Project Manager at Haitong Bank, I was accountable for day-to-day performance of high-value application suites (Murex, Kondor+, Ambit Quantum, SAP) and delivered full-cycle upgrades, including CORE Profile. I led regulatory reporting for the Bank of Portugal and CMVM (100% compliance), orchestrated SWIFT/TARGET2/SEPA integrations and ISO 20022 migration, and established governance, incident, and change management frameworks (ITIL/COBIT) alongside Big Four audit teams.
