Fayziddin Niyozov

Led a multidisciplinary team of nine to oversee improved instruction and curriculum revision, delivering primary reading and math materials for USAID. Revised 11 primary education subject standards and syllabi and oversaw production of six textbooks and digital supplementary applications, while directing EGRA/EGMA/SEL assessment adaptation and data collection.

Directed a team of six on technical strategy, building in-service and pre-service training programs aligned to teacher competence and qualification frameworks. Developed a digital platform with monitoring and evaluation tools and supported development, piloting, and evaluation of Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) midline and endline instruments.

Designed qualitative and quantitative data collection tools, including classroom observation protocols, learning assessment instruments, teacher interview guides, and focus group frameworks. Produced and presented pilot study findings nationally and provided technical assistance to develop and pilot formative assessment and teacher training packages.

Co-led the national development of competency-based primary education standards with local expert teams, integrating global best practices with Tajikistan’s needs. Supported MoES pilots for Math and Tajik Language standards across 55 schools, reaching 500 primary teachers.

Supported youth empowerment in Tajikistan by designing the Tajik Youth Civic Education Framework. Contributed to development of resources used to implement national youth civic education programs.

Developed in-service and pre-service teacher training curricula and modules for primary and secondary education, collaborating with education institutions to create formative and summative assessment guidelines. Designed project M&E plans, reviewed progress against gaps, adapted implementation plans, and trained data collectors on classroom observation.

Earned a diploma in Journalism from Tajik National University in Dushanbe.
