What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a frontend-focused role where I can own performance outcomes (Core Web Vitals), build observability and SLO-based regression guardrails, and lead teams hands-on to deliver measurable product and business impact.

I’m a Principal Software Engineer with 10+ years in frontend engineering, focused on React and TypeScript. I combine hands-on delivery with product and business judgment, and I’m known for turning performance and reliability goals into measurable outcomes.

At Vista, I led a gallery performance overhaul that moved mobile CLS and LCP into Google’s Good zone and lifted INP out of the Poor range. I also fixed a memory leak in a shared localization utility that was crashing mobile browsers, then reworked the function itself after a memoization hotfix improved gallery INP.

I built the team’s performance observability with New Relic—reusable dashboards plus per-page/region SLO-based regression alerting—then helped standardize the process with quarterly perf-audit templates and CWV usage guides. The result was clearer ownership and faster detection of post-commit regressions, with room to spot improvements quickly.

Previously, as a Senior Engineering Manager at VistaCreate, I initiated a dormant-user storage-cleanup program, recovering $47.5K/year in revenue and reducing infrastructure costs. I also stabilized core platform reliability with the SRE team and owned technical delivery of a Microsoft data-licensing deal, coordinating across legal, sales, and engineering to close at $1.4M.
