Fawzan Akhtar

I am an aspiring cybersecurity professional currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at the University of Nebraska Omaha, expected to graduate in January 2026. My hands-on experience includes system configuration, Linux administration, and threat analysis. I have a proven ability to set up secure virtual environments, troubleshoot system issues, and conduct intelligence-based assessments. Bilingual in English and Urdu, I am also working towards obtaining my CompTIA Security+ certification to further enhance my skills.

Throughout my academic journey, I have engaged in various projects that have honed my technical skills. For instance, I configured virtual machines using Hyper-V and VirtualBox for security testing and managed file permissions and security settings across different operating systems. I have also conducted in-depth analyses of cybersecurity threats, such as those posed by North Korea, and compiled detailed intelligence reports summarizing my findings. My technical proficiency spans multiple programming languages, including Python and Assembly, as well as tools like Wireshark and Active Directory.
